I Love You Because

A hilarious comedy filled with memorable music, I Love You Because is a modern day twist on Jane Austen's classic novel, Pride and Prejudice, set in New York City. Austin is an uptight greeting card writer getting over a recent breakup, and his life is suddenly changed when he meets Marcy, a free-spirited photographer looking for Mr. Wrong. Along with their eccentric friends, they learn to love each other not in spite of their differences, but because of them.

The Cellar is one more venue that underscores Four County's commitment to bringing great theater to our community.

Located in the lower level of the theater with an eclectic mix of seating and tables, the "Cellar" performance space is flexible and intimate. This 50-seat venue lends itself to many types of productions. It has a boutique ambiance that matches some of the lesser-known but amazing works we produce featuring local playwrights, bands and more. The Cellar Bistro will see to your every snack and beverage need during the performance.

The Cellar is also home to the Four County Kids program throughout the year, and will be host to many upcoming educational workshops for kids and adults.
